Brief Resort Overview: St. Anton is located in the Western tip of Austria at an attitude of 1300m, a stones throw from Switzerland,
Italy and Germany. St. Anton is in the Vorarlberg on the Arlberg stream approximately 100 miles East of Zurich and 140 miles West of Munich.
Striking about most resorts in the Vorarlberg are the modern round hotels painted hotels with trompe d'oeuils drawings which would make one feel
like they are in the Roman Empire of Julius Caesar. Consider it Austria's answer to Las Vegas on a microscopic scale.
St. Anton is very popular with the young party crowd with one of the most lively après-ski scenes in the Alps.
The interconnected ski areas make the largest ski area in Austria.
The ski area is vast and has lots of steep gullies and slopes. Perhaps the most challenging is Valluga Peak (2800m) which has no groomed marked
way down.
Principal advantages of the resort: The resort offers some of the best skiing and après-ski in the Alps, vibrant night life, and lots of chic boutiques.
